Blake Shelton took the stage at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night to perform his single “Gonna” and true to form, he was a crowd-pleaser.

The singer was all smiles and had the audience on their feet dancing to his latest hit.

Shelton, 39, who flew into Nashville for country’s biggest night with his new leading lady and The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani, was in a festive mood all night.

He showed off his trademark sense of humor earlier in the night when he was a good sport about the light ribbing he got from hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley earlier in the evening.
