Brad Paisley Plays the Opry with Sarah Darling
The singer welcomes the Rising Star contestant home
With Brad Paisley, even when you lose, you win.
After Sarah Darling was eliminated from ABC’s Rising Star on July 13, Paisley made sure to send the Nashville-based singer home with a parting gift – an invite to play the Grand Ole Opry with him.
Clearly, Paisley is a man of his word. And on Saturday night, he and Darling took the famed Opry stage and performed Paisley’s hit “Whiskey Lullaby” together.
Before starting the song, Paisley introduced Darling to the crowd, saying, Welcome home – back to the place you belong, Nashville, Tennessee.” An ecstatic Darling responded, “There s no place like home.”
