Blake Shelton served as Gwen Stefani‘s inspiration for several songs on her new album, so it’s only fitting the country star is also his girlfriend’s biggest fan.

“I may have gone overboard,” the “Came Here to Forget” singer captioned a photo on Twitter Friday of five copies of Stefani’s album This Is What the Truth Feels Like.

After the album dropped, it quickly shot to number one on iTunes, causing Shelton, 39, to go on a Twitter spree.

“I am freaking out!!! Congratulations @gwenstefani!!!!” he wrote, adding in another post that his “favorite song” on her album is “Rare.” For anyone still questioning whether the song was inspired by her new relationship, Stefani, 46, put the doubters to rest with her response: “@blakeshelton hummmm really ? Wonder who that one is about? Gx,” she wrote, adding a heart emoji.

The cute couple – who often banter back and forth on Twitter much to their fans’ delight – continued their social media PDA. “@blakeshelton omg!!!! #muse gx,” Stefani wrote in another tweet.

Shelton’s own album If I’m Honest will be out in May, and his new single “Came Here to Forget” also shot to the top of the country charts.
