The pair definitely sees a "longterm future together," a source tells PEOPLE
While one source hints the musicians have hired a wedding planner, multiple insiders close to the couple say it’s unlikely wedding bells will be ringing in the immediate future.
“Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, but Gwen is touring and busy,” says a Stefani source, who adds there is “no date” picked out for a wedding. “The time just hasn’t been right.”
According to an insider closer to the pair, Stefani, 46, and Shelton, 40, see a “longterm future together” but have “no immediate” plans. However, “it is a serious relationship,” says the insider.
One year after ending their respective marriages – Shelton with Miranda Lambert and Stefani with Gavin Rossdale – the singers are indeed ready to close the chapter on their broken relationships and move on with each other.
“The divorce had its place in Blake’s life, but he doesn’t dwell on it,” says the insider. “He’s in a better place now, and he’s very grateful for everything that’s happened. He’s come out of this a better person and a happier person.”
Echoes the Stefani source: “Before dating Blake, Gwen seemed lost. She had the roughest time with her divorce, but they almost rescued each other. Their relationship is almost too good to be true.”
