They’re already hunting buddies and fishing buddies, but now Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley can also call each other ACM Award co-hosts!

Bryan shared the video announcement on Facebook Tuesday. “Dierks Bentley, I hope you’re ready to co-host the 51st ACM – Academy of Country Music Awards with me. Be sure to mark April 3rd on your calendars now.”

Added Bentley, “I’m excited to announce that I’ll be joining my friend Luke.”

Bryan’s previous co-host for the past three years, Blake Shelton, will not be joining him in April next year. And as sad as he might be to see his good friend go, the “Home Alone Tonight” singer, 39, says it wasn’t hard to find a proper replacement.

“When we found ourselves searching for a new co-host I didn’t have to look much further than my own circle of friends,” said Bryan in a statement. “Dierks was a natural choice. We have a lot of fun together and I know the fans will be in for something special.”

This will be Bentley’s first time hosting a live show, but he’s pretty confident the experience will be a blast.

“I think everyone knows Luke is the guy you call when you want to have a good time,” said Bentley, 40. “If we have half as much fun hosting together as we do backstage, it’s going to be a great night.”
