Shakira and Maluma display their high-octane chemistry in hot new music video “Trap.” The Colombian artists, who sizzled together in the music video for their hit “Chantaje,” recently released a clip of their latest musical collaboration. The video captures an ethereal quality with black and white images of Shakira emerging out of a milky pool, sensuously moving underwater mermaid-like, alongside a sexily soaked Maluma.

Although they’re both happily paired — Shakira with Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué and Maluma with Cuban-Croatian model Natalia Barulich — the chemistry between the duo is undeniable.

In “Trap,” Maluma courts a resistant Shakira, who’s done with players and heartbreak. Maluma, who has also collaborated with Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony and Thalía, talked to Billboard about teaming up with Shakira. “It was a great experience working with her. She is a great artist,” he said.

Although Shakira had to cancel concert dates in Europe in November while she recovered from strained vocal chords, the singer is preparing to kick off her El Dorado World Tour anew in June. Meanwhile, the Corazón crooner continues his F.A.M.E Tour. Here’s hoping the duo guest each other’s concerts.
