These Two Latin Tracks Are the World's Most Streamed Workout Songs
Latin artists, who dominated the music scene in 2017 with chart-toppers and high-profile collaborations, keep rising to the top in 2018.
New data reveals the top 10 #fitspo tracks on Spotify, and J. Balvin’s popular single”Mi Gente” comes in at No. 6 and Camila Cabello megahit “Havana” sits at No. 7 — and both tunes landed in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Spotify’s “Latin Dance Cardio” provided another shinning moment for Latin music, as it was among the most popular workout playlists internationally.
Cabello and Balvin aren’t just scaling the charts on Spotify. The two singers also made it onto former President Barack Obama’s annual favorite track list for 2017. When she found out she made 44’s faves, Cabello shared her excitement on social media: “I CANT BELIEVE OBAMA SAID HAVANA WAS ONE OF HIS FAVORITE SONGS OF THE YEAR I AM REALLY CRUYING OH MY GOD DONT LOOKA T ME,” she tweeted. She proceeded to flip out in another tweet in all caps: “I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS OH MY GOD.” Balvin, who was No. 1 on Obama’s list for “Mi Gente,” was a pinch more restrained, writing, simply: “Yes!!!!”
