Late night hosts didn’t hold back Tuesday evening when addressing President Donald Trump’s delayed response to Hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico.

Seth Meyers was particularly bothered by Trump’s lack of empathy for the ailing Island, taking offense to a tweet Trump posted on Monday about how Puerto Rico owes Wall Street. “Much of the island was destroyed,” Trump wrote, “with billions of dollars owed to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with.”

Meyers defended the U.S territory on his late-night show, calling the commander-in-chief’s tweet inhumane. “Don’t go after Puerto Rico for their financial problems now. Victims of tragedy are looking for real talk.”

He cuttingly added: “Hey, weren’t you the guy who was going to put Americans before Wall Street? You couldn’t even do that in a tweet! People don’t even have clean drinking water and your first instinct is to tell them they owe money. What are you, some kind of [expletive] landlord? Oh, right. You were a [expletive] landlord.”

The T.V. host went on to remind Trump that Puerto Rico is a part of the United States. “You Wanted to Make America Great Again, Puerto Rico is America.” Meyers gave a nod to Jennifer Lopez, who’s urged her 69.1 million Instagram followers to donate to the cause, even committing $1 million of her own money to help the island’s victims, calling her an example of “great.”

Meyers wasn’t the only one to scorn Trump on the late-night circuit. Others who spoke out against the president’s seeming apathy toward the island include Trevor Noah, Jimmy Fallon, and Conan O’Brien. “Today, Trump announced he will visit Puerto Rico next Tuesday and survey the storm damage,” O’Brien said, “However, he may have to cancel, depending on what happens on Monday Night Football.”
