No racist tirade is safe with the power of a cell phone. More videos are surfacing on the Internet of racist rants happening in public places, many of them directed at Latinos. Days after a woman yelled at a shopper “go back to Mexico” and called another woman the N-word in an Arkansas Walmart, a new video is making its way around the web of a similar incidence at a Nevada airport.

In the video, a handicapped man yells at a Hispanic man named Hector Torres for speaking to his mother on the phone in Spanish. When Torres asks the man why he’s upset, he responds, “ “Talking that f—ing stupid Spanish around here when everybody else is f—ing English-speaking American.”

When Torres tried calmly explaining to the man why he was speaking in his native language, the man in the wheel chair responds with hostility again. “I don’t give a s–t, shut up, shut up,” he says while throwing his trash at him.

The Reno-Tahoe International Airport released a statement following the incident. “The Airport Authority is deeply saddened to see this type of situation occur at our airport. Every passenger, regardless of race, religion, the language they speak, nation of origin, sexual orientation, age or political belief is welcome at Reno-Tahoe International Airport,” they said.
