The music video for “Hola” —which dropped on November 17th— features the 38-year-old rapper singing a duet with Colombian singer Maluma, 23. The clip that was directed by Jessy Terrero has plenty of dancing, major bling and many beautiful women. The action kicks off when Flo Rida and his crew get stuck in a traffic jam aboard a taxi in the colorful streets of Medellin. Dazzled by the Colombian women, the singer descends from the vehicle to introduce himself, in Spanish, to one of the beauties and begins to sing the catchy verse that is already making people dance. The video continues at night when Flo Rida and Maluma go inside a club full of singing and dancing people, and are surrounded by gorgeous women. Flo Rida had announced the song’s release just a few days ago during a special appearance at the 18th Latin Grammy Awards. He also performed the song during his appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. For most of the decade, the rapper has climbed to the top of the charts with hits like “Right Round” with Ke$ha and “Wild Ones” with Sia.
