Easter is a big celebration at Birbragher house. The Panamanian celebrity stylist shares the fun with her husband, Telemundo TV host Jorge Bernal, and their two kids. “I took Lucas and Kylie shopping with me and they picked out the eggs for the hunt,” she says of her children. “There are so many great colorful styles and sizes. Just like with their outfits, it’s all about the details.”

The Target spokesperson — whose famous clients include TV host Rashel Diaz, singer Jencarlos Canela and actress Gaby Espino — shared tips with PEOPLE CHICA to make the Easter holiday, falling on April 1 this year, a fashionable event for the entire family.

“Don’t sacrifice comfort. Kids want to be able to move. They don’t want to feel constricted, especially if you’re outside on the hunt for Easter eggs,” she says. “Don’t be afraid to experiment with colors. It’s spring and this season is all about brights and pastels.”

She adds that the ladies aren’t the only ones that should have a bit of fun with fashion during this holiday. “Men shouldn’t be afraid to wear bright colors and pastels this season too. It’s all about how you wear them. For example, you can make a statement with a pair of pastel pink pants and a simple button-down shirt,” she suggests. “Another option is channeling a more laid-back look with a bright T-shirt paired with a cool jacket and trendy white tennis shoes.”

For women, accent pieces play a big part. “Whether it’s a fun print, poms or embellishments, a simple piece can have a big impact on your look,” Kirabragher says. “I selected a bright yellow one-shoulder dress because of the ruffle detail, which is perfect for the occasion.”

The stylist says that picking the right outfits can help make the Easter family portrait frame-worthy. “I love any chance to dress up as a family,” she admits. “We’re not super matchy-matchy, but we definitely coordinate. Whether it’s staying within the same color palette or wearing similar clothing styles or fabrics, the family combinations are always a hit at events and in our photos. Kylie is my mini-me, so from time to time she and I will match from head to toe,” she says of her daughter. “Lucas takes after Jorge in the style department, so you’ll catch them wearing similar pieces.”
