Cardi B Responds to Rumors Fiancé Offset Cheated: 'No, It's Not Right'
Are wedding bells still ringing for Cardi B and fiancé Offset?
After rumors of a sex tape and alleged liaison with another woman surfaced, their happy union seemed in jeopardy. Although Offset never confirmed nor denied the allegations, on Jan. 8 Cardi responded to fans questioning the status of the duo’s relationship, suggesting the Migos’ rapper was unfaithful.
“No, it’s not right for a [n***a] to cheat…But what you want me to do?” she wrote. “Go f**k me another n***a? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This sh** happens to everyone and I be too, you too…People handle they relationship different soo.”
In a tweet that’s since been deleted, she asked her followers to respect her privacy — and whatever resolution she comes to. “I’m going to make a decision in my own times with my heart and mind,” she wrote according to multiple outlets. “I don’t need to be rushed or be told what to do. Its my life! I belong to me not to the world.”
On Jan. 10, the chart-topping rapper seemed to have made up her mind. In an interview on Beats 1 Radio with Julie Adenuga, she confirmed that she still plans to walk down the aisle with her “MotorSport” collaborator, dishing on plans for the big day, including artists the couple is considering for their wedding song. “It’s between Al B. Sure! or Grace Jones,” she told Adenuga. She also revealed what annoys her the most about her beau: “When he buys food, and he don’t eat it,” she said.
