Per CNET, this woman was riding on Hong Kong’s subway, the MTR, when her phone died. Apparently, she quite literally can’t even with this development – she immediately breaks down and starts wailing over and over again that her phone has died. Akira Chan uploaded the clip to Facebook last week, and it’s currently approaching 1.2 million views.

A Gallup poll last week suggested that 41 percent of Americans check their phones “a few times an hour,” which is almost certainly an under-reported figure, based on anecdotal evidence in our own lives and also our phone is buzzing right now and we have to do something about that, so
