She may be new to television – but "Whip My Hair" singer Willow Smith got a warm (and safe) welcome from Ellen DeGeneres during a visit to her daytime show, set to air Tuesday.

Yes, the talk show host was bearing gifts for the young fashionista – specifically a customized neck brace, stamped with her image.

“Because you have such great style, I want to make sure if you do ever hurt your head, you will be in style,” DeGeneres told Will Smith‘s 9-year-old daughter during the interview. “You can wear a neck brace.”

Hopefully she’ll never need it – but Smith obviously got the joke, and the young singer slipped on the accessory. Said DeGeneres: “You can wear that on all your tours.”
