William and Harry's Holiday Lunch

Princes William and Harry joined their father at London’s Ritz Hotel this week for Charles’ staff’s annual Christmas lunch, Britain’s Daily Telegraph reported. Charles and his sons, who were on the first day of their school holiday, walked from nearby St. James’s Palace and slipped into the posh hotel through a side door. “Inside, in a private room lit by candlelight and decorated with festive balloons, streamers and Christmas crackers, the Princes joined about 100 members of staff for a traditional turkey lunch. It was the second year that William, 16, and Harry, 14, both dressed in smart suits, have been to the party,” said the paper.

  • As the Telegraph reported, “All their father’s employees — from private secretaries and personal assistants to valets, grooms and gardeners — at both Highgrove and St. James’s Palace — were invited to the lunch. Police officers who are responsible for shadowing the Princes throughout the year were also on the guest list.”
