Will Arnett is speaking out about his divorce from Amy Poehler.

“Life is challenging,” the Arrested Development actor says in the latest issue of Details. “I’d say there’s no guidebook – but there’s about a million guidebooks out there. [Laughs] All people have been doing since the dawn of time is trying to figure out how to live this life and be happy. I’m no different.”

He adds, “I’m 43 and I’ve found my happiness – which is my kids.”

After nine years of marriage, the couple announced their split in September 2012. They have two sons together – Archie, 4½ and Abel, 2½.

Though Arnett has been divorced twice, when asked if he still believes in the institution of marriage, he replies, “Certainly. I do. I do.”

But while Poehler, 41, has been linked to fellow comedian, Nick Kroll, Arnett says he’s “not officially dating.”

“Yeah, I don’t know what you do,” he says. “Do you put out an announcement in the trades? I’M DATING! It all seems very scary to me, to be honest. So I’m kind of keeping pretty close counsel right now.”
