Hotelier Sol Kerzner reportedly threw a star-studded grand-opening party as he opened the doors to his new Royal Towers at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino in the Bahamas over the weekend. Michael Jackson put in an appearance at the Paradise Island resort, but a source told the New York Post that Jackson was overwhelmed by the crowds and nearly backed out of a performance Saturday night. The king of pop was persuaded to go on, but bailed out after just one number. Later, on the hotel’s dance floor, “Baywatch” alums Carmen Electra and Yasmine Bleeth did a little bump and grind. Sean “Puffy” Combs did a little dirty dancing with a young woman, and actress Marisa Tomei kicked off her shoes and nearly shimmied out of her tube top.

  • In other party news, rocker Tommy Lee made quite a scene at a bar in Miami’s South Beach over the weekend. The New York Post reports that the Motley Crue drummer had to be carried out of a nightclub by Chaos club staff after he drank a number of shooters, slumped forward in his chair and passed out cold. As Lee was carried out, two female fans reportedly checked out the rocker’s crotch and stole a cowboy hat he was wearing.
