Per White House tradition, every holiday season the State Dining Room plays host to a gingerbread White House. This video shows how it comes together.

Pastry Chef Bill Yosses and his staff spent several weeks putting together the 300-pound, edible replica, complete with a miniature Bo and Sunny sitting on the front steps of the house. It’s even lit from within.

Time permitting, we’d like it if a small marzipan Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx from White House Down could be placed on the lawn. It’s really the least Yosses could do.
