Chloë Grace Moretz says she’s in love with Brooklyn Beckham – his passion for sports, that is.

The If I Stay star is opening up about her rumored boyfriend, with whom she’s been spotted getting close at spin class and the Teen Choice Awards.

“What I find really interesting about Brooklyn – and what I really love about that kid – is that he is passionate about what he wants, which is to be a professional soccer player,” the actress, 17, says in the October issue of Teen Vogue about David and Victoria Beckham‘s 15-year-old son.

“And I enjoy someone who is on my level with the seriousness kind of thing.”

Moretz is not just serious about her career but responsible when she goes out. “I’ve never been the kid who wants to do crazy stuff. I tell my mom where I’m going. It’s a pool party – I’m sure people are going to be drinking. But I’m not going to be drinking. I have a control issue. I like knowing who’s around me,” she says.

The actress’s four older brothers like to know who’s around her, too, especially when she goes out with a potential suitor.

“My brothers will follow them on Instagram and Twitter,” she says about her dates. “It’s a sort of [cyber warning] that says, ‘I’m here. I’m on top of you.’ ”
