The daytime diva serves up an all-star special with her Oprah Winfrey’s Legends Ball on ABC on Monday. PEOPLE looks at the A-list affair, plus other events to watch for in the coming week:
MONDAY, MAY 15: The queen of daytime TV is coming to primetime with her ABC special, Oprah Winfrey’s Legends Ball (8 p.m. ET), which goes behind the scenes of last year’s gala weekend honoring 25 legendary ladies – including Tina Turner, the late Coretta Scott King and Diana Ross. The all-star affair features footage from the Winfrey’s Montecito, Calif., home, an A-list party where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes mingled with Sidney Poitier, and a rousing gospel brunch featuring performances by Chaka Khan and Patti LaBelle.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 17: The Da Vinci Code kicks off the Cannes Film Festival, when Hollywood makes its annual descent upon the south of France for two weeks of partying, hobnobbing and movie-viewing. Besides Da Vinci Code star Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman and the cast of X-Men: The Last Stand and Kirsten Dunst, who’s the title character in Sofia Coppola‘s Marie-Antoinette, will also see and be seen at the fest.

Frankie Muniz finally graduates from high school in Malcolm in the Middle (FOX, Sunday at 8:30 p.m.). And it’s a wrap for Will & Grace (NBC, Thursday at 8 p.m.). Shooting the last episode “had a feeling of torture to it,” star Debra Messing tells PEOPLE. “I cried like a 7-year-old!”
And there are a number of reality-show season enders: Survivor: Panama – Exile Island reveals who outwit, outplayed and outlasted the rest (CBS, Sunday at 8 p.m. ET).
