ALL SMILES
They’re a natural fit! Of his July 26 rustic-chic wedding to longtime girlfriend Melina Gallo, John Rzeznik tells PEOPLE "the whole thing was just about family and friends. It was really beautiful and romantic." For the al fresco evening celebration at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Calif., Rzeznik opts for a dark green Gucci suit instead of a tux, while Gallo stuns in an Enzoani gown.

MAN OF THE HOUR
Calling the event "just basically a traditional wedding," the rocker (shown here catching a moment with his groomsmen) looks forward to making it official. "I’m really excited. I’m really happy about the whole situation," he says.

FAMILY TREE
Episcopal priest and longtime friend Rev. Michael Ralph marries the couple under a 100-year-old oak tree, against a romantic backdrop of cascading twinkle lights and ivy. Rzeznik and Gallo keep their loved ones close with a guest list of about 120 family and friends, including Rzeznik's bandmates.

FEELING THE LOVE
Though he takes a spin with his new wife, Rzeznik, who is currently on tour promoting the Dolls's tenth album, Magnetic, did not perform at the wedding. "We made it perfectly clear that I would not be singing at all at our wedding. Our song was Adele's 'Make You Feel My Love.' I love her version of that song," he says.

COUNTRY CHIC
Staying true to the tradition of an elegant country wedding, the deck's all-white tented reception – dazzling with flowing white drapes, twinkling lights and lush blooms – overlooks Malibu's meadows and vineyards. A classic, hearty dinner features dishes like roasted chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and wild mushroom ravioli.

STEPPING UP
After the "I dos," the couple are planning a honeymoon in Italy and France once Rzeznik is done touring in the fall. Next up: possibly expanding beyond a twosome. "We've been together a while and I'm not going anywhere, and we'd like to start a family," Rzeznik says. As for how many children the couple plans to have, he adds, "We'll start with one and deal with it from there."
