White House Correspondents' Dinner Live Stream: Watch President Obama and Larry Wilmore Take on the Starry Crowd
This year's White House Correspondents' Dinner features remarks by Comedy Central's Larry Wilmore
President Barack Obama‘s final White House Correspondents’ Dinner should be one for the books this Saturday – with or without his anger translator.
The night, which honors the reporters who cover politics in the White House Correspondents’ Association’s West Wing press room, allows the president to finally shirk business and get downright goofy during a speech delivered in front of a star-studded audience (this year’s guests include Kendall Jenner and Will Smith).
Held at the Washington Hilton, “nerd prom” – as the annual event has been affectionately dubbed – will also feature remarks by Comedy Central’s Larry Wilmore, a task taken on by Seth Meyers and Cecily Strong before him.
Last year’s Obama speech featured plenty of zingers, including, “I feel as loose and relaxed as ever. Those Joe Biden shoulder massages, they’re like magic. You should try one … oh, you have!”
