Jennifer Lawrence takes aim as Katniss Everdeen in the film's first full-length trailer

Effie, is that really you?

In the first full-length trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, the always haute-rageously over-the-top Capitol mouthpiece (played by Elizabeth Banks) has traded in her glam style for a drab, dressed-down look. (Call it bunker chic.)

Effie is among those who unite with the Mockingjay – a.k.a. Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) – in the districts’ uprising against the totalitarian Capitol.

Following poster teases of the rebel alliance, fans finally get to see Katniss in action – aiming her signature bow and arrow at the enemy.

“I never wanted any of this,” Katniss tells President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the trailer. “Never wanted to be in the Games … I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive.”

“Miss Everdeen, it’s the things we love most that destroy us,” Snow coldly replies.

The trailer also offers glimpses of Julianne Moore as resistance President Alma Coin, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman as rebel leader Plutarch Heavensbee, Natalie Dormer (half-shaved warrior Cressida) – and of course, Katniss’s two loves, Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 opens Nov. 21.
