Following her brief appearance at the Academy Awards on Sunday, the actress poked fun at herself with a sketch inspired by Jimmy Kimmel’s popular Mean Tweets series.
“So i just walked off stage where I got no applause, no boos, nothing. People were, I think, awestruck, which was a little disappointing,” Dash, 49, prefaced the bit, which was posted on her website Monday.
Host Chris Rock introduced the Fox News regular as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ new “director of our minority outreach program.”
The self proclaimed “head of diversity at the Oscars” read real fan tweets while backstage at the Dolby Theatre.
“I was hoping there was a trap door on the stage and @REALStaceyDash would fall through,” a viewer wrote while another tweeted, “No one likes you.”

Although the backlash the former Clueless star received was mean, Dash still held her head up high.
“Here’s the thing I do what I do because I want to do it and because I believe in it,” she explained. “It has nothing to do with race and I wish you would stop saying that. Everything that I do is because I believe in it, and I believe we are all equal, okay?”
And Dash concluded her video with a suggestion to all her haters. “I don t feel inferior nor do I feel superior you should stop feeling that way too. I’m very happy about what I did, and I’m proud of it,” she said.
