Still searching for the perfect and affordable holiday gift? Well, for $10, you can contribute to a worthy cause and have the chance to meet Matthew McConaughey.

PEOPLE has an exclusive video of McConaughey – in vintage McConaughey style – encouraging contributions to his Just Keep Livin’ Foundation where every $10 donation enters you into a contest to meet the Oscar-winning actor in Austin at the foundation’s annual MJ&M event.

“Hey, everybody, McConaughey here!” the actor, 44, says in the above video, while sporting a blue stocking cap, charcoal hoodie, bushy beard and big smile. “Hope you had a good Thanksgiving. We sure did. A lot of food, that’s for sure. Enough to hibernate actually for a while.”

McConaughey goes on to explain that each donation “sponsors a kid in our curriculum for one full week,” and puts donors’ names into a pool to meet him and his wife, Camila.

As part of the foundation’s “Giving Tuesday Campaign,” donations are accepted online through Tuesday, Dec. 2. A winner will be drawn on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

The Just Keep Livin’ Foundation was started by McConaughey and Camila and is dedicated to empowering high school students to lead active lives and make healthy choices.

According to the foundation’s website, McConaughey was struggling with the passing of his father while filming Dazed and Confused and was overtaken by a saying that would soon change his life: “Just keep livin’.”

In a note from the Giving Tuesday Campaign’s website, McConaughey writes: “Each year, the holiday season gets me thinking about giving back and about how to support the work of my foundation. I want to let you all know about the good work that’s happening in our after school programs that empowers high school students by providing them with the tools to lead active lives and make healthy choices for a better future Look forward to meeting the winner… good luck.”

At the end of the video, McConaughey gives a salute and click of the tongue: “Thank you for everything so far. Just keep livin’.”
