Monica Lewinsky received less-than-enthusiastic reviews in the French press Thursday for her book signing at Paris’ biggest department store, reports The Washington Post. Still, the store was said to be satisfied with her visit. She signed 350 copies of “Monica’s Story,” which a spokeswoman for Galleries Lafayette called “a good score, completely within the norms.” The conservative French daily Le Figaro carped that Monica wore a pasted-on smile and said little beyond a polite “thank you.”
