Tom Hiddleston Impersonates Robert De Niro ... for Robert De Niro

Tom Hiddleston inspired a smile from Robert De Niro when he impersonated the famed actor during their joint appearance on The Graham Norton Show

You talkin’ to me?

Tom Hiddleston‘s Robert De Niro impression is so spot-on even Robert De Niro is impressed.

The actor mustered up the courage to re-enact a scene from De Niro’s 1995 movie Heat while appearing on The Graham Norton Show – with the Oscar-winner sitting just a few feet away from him.

After impersonating his Midnight in Paris costar Owen Wilson, Hiddleston told fellow guests Anne Hathaway, Kenneth Branagh and De Niro, that his mimic skills are wide ranging.

“I’ve been made to do impressions of my fellow Avengers,” Hiddleston said. “I think everyone does an impression of Christopher Walken because he’s such an easy one.”

De Niro seemed amused throughout Hiddleston’s Walken bit, and continued smiling when the Crimson Peak star began regaling the stars with a description of Heat.

Hiddleston, who blushed while he set the scene for his captive audience, joked to the “esteemed gentleman at the end of the sofa” that he’d recognize the clip because “you were there.”

The Intern star chuckled while the Brit re-enacted both his and his costar Al Pacino’s lines.

Anne Hathaway’s Changing Looks!

Hiddleston made sure to clarify that the impression was one of “admiration,” and declared “This is so meta. I feel like I’ve gone into a parallel universe.”
