This Brit’s got soul!

Arguably the biggest British import since Ab Fab, singer Leona Lewis, 23, performed a soulful rendition of her hit, “Better In Time,” for Clear Channel’s Stripped series – and PEOPLE has the first look!

The X-Factor winner and Simon Cowell protégé, who was the first British female to top the U.S. charts in over 20 years with her single, “Bleeding Love,” is heating up the scene with “Better In Time,” which is currently No. 18 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 singles chart.

Lewis recently collaborated with Beyoncé Knowles, Miley Cyrus and Fergie on the charitable single “Just Stand Up!” which benefits the Stand Up To Cancer program.
