The actress arrived in Italy Tuesday to promote her new film, The Reluctant Fundamentalist

Kate Hudson and other A-Listers have started to invade Venice for the 69th International Film Festival.

Sporting aviators, a brown Twenty8Twelve romper and heels, Hudson arrived solo Tuesday, leaving fiancé, Matt Belamy, and sons, Ryder, 8½, and Bingham, 13 months, back home.

The stylish Hudson is there to promote her new film, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, which also stars Kiefer Sutherland and Liev Schreiber.

The film tells the tale of a young Pakistani man trying to make his name on Wall Street as he struggles with his identity and a hostage crisis.

Schreiber also arrived on Tuesday, with longtime partner, Naomi Watts, who has been in London filming Diana.

The film festival runs until Sept. 8.
