Go ninja, go ninja, go

If you remember watching the 1991 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze‘s climactic scene, which featured Vanilla Ice rapping about ninjas and dancing with the turtles, then you’ll likely enjoy this clip.

Kraft’s latest commercial finds Mr. Ice reprising the other song he’s fondly remembered for, “Ninja Rap” (otherwise known as “Go Ninja Go”), to sell Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.

The ad is – naturally – tied in with Kraft’s new line of TMNT-themed mac and cheese, which means it targets two major demographics: Those who remember the now-46-year-old Vanilla Ice’s success in the early ’90s, and their children, who are presumably discovering the joys of irradiated, martial-arts-proficient reptiles for the first time.
