Vanessa Hudgens Shares Emotional Tribute to Late Father on Instagram: 'Rest in Peace Daddy'

Vanessa Hudgens has posted another tribute to her late father.

The 27-year-old actress took to Instagram on Tuesday, posting the emotional message for her late father, Greg Hudgens.

“Rest in peace daddy,” she captioned an old, framed photo of her father surrounded by plants in what appears to be a cemetery.

Greg died earlier this month, just one day before Vanessa was set to perform in Fox’s Grease: Live.

She broke the news on Twitter, writing, “I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer. Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers.”

Hudgens powered through the loss, delivering a show-stopping performance in the live telecast.

She revealed her father’s diagnosis last summer, telling fans at an event that her father had the disease.

Tuesday’s Instagram post isn’t the only tribute the actress has made to her father on social media.

On Saturday, she uploaded a photo of the words, “I wish heaven had visiting hours.”

She captioned the picture: “If only “
