Kilmer, 55, was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in LA back in January
Kilmer, 55, was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in LA on Jan. 26 after police responded to a 911 call at Kilmer’s address. The Top Gun actor’s spokesperson later confirmed that he was undergoing tests for a possible tumor.
On Sunday, Kilmer shared a photo of himself smiling, writing, “This was taken last Friday when I was released from the hospital and on my way home.”
He added, “FREEDOM!!!!”
Before his spokesperson released a statement, Kilmer wrote on his Facebook page that he had a “complication” that needed to be observed “under the watchful eye of the UCLA ICU.”
“Friends have assisted who know my spiritual convictions and have been most sensitive and kind for the extra effort in making sure there’s minimum gossip and silly talk,” he said. “I am praying for a speedy return to the boards as they say. God bless you all and please don’t worry.”
