While much of Taylor Swift‘s squad is staying mum about her drama with Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West, squad newbie Uzo Aduba is speaking out in support of her friend.

Asked if Swift will overcome her nasty Kimye battle, the Orange Is the New Black star told Vanity Fair, “She will,” while at a screening of the Netflix Movie Tallulah on Tuesday. “She’s a beautiful person and strong,” she added.

Aduba, 35, who recently celebrated the Fourth of July at Swift’s blowout bash, previously dished on the “epic night” she joined Swift’s squad during her New Jersey, concert last summer.

“All those girls are great, all lovely, and she’s so lovely. It was amazing, and that energy in that space! Just playing to 60,000 people – screaming fans who know every word, who love her music, myself included,” Aduba told HuffPost Live, recounting the 1989 Tour stop where she stepped onto the stage with Swift and pals including Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid.
