Uma Thurman was in high spirits leaving a New York courthouse Thursday after settling a custody dispute with ex-fiancé Arpad Busson.

The Kill Bill actress smiled and blew kisses to reporters as she exited the courthouse, according to Page Six.

Thurman, 45, and Busson, 52, were in court to settle a dispute over shared custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Luna. Busson sued Thurman in 2014, asking to be able to spend more time with their child.

While in court, the Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper congratulated the former couple on putting their differences aside for the sake of their daughter.

“Everybody compromised a bit I think it was all done to make one person happy and that one person is Luna,” said Cooper, according to Page Six.

Details of their settlement are confidential, but the two signed a three-year plan on how to co-parent Luna.

Busson also seemed happy with the arrangement as he gave reporters a thumbs-up on his way out on Thursday.

Neither party spoke to the press or gave comments on the hearing.

The on-again, off-again couple were engaged in 2008, and split briefly in 2009 before welcoming their daughter in July 2012. They broke up for good earlier this year.

Thurman, who also has two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, prides herself on her kids.

“I’m madly in love with all of my children and very proud of them,” the actress told PEOPLE in July. “I think they conduct themselves with a lot of dignity and respect for others. It’s all a parent could dream of.”
