Tracy Morgan is on the mend.

His rep says the actor and comedian has been “upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement.”

The rep adds more good news: “His personality is certainly starting to come back as well.”

Morgan had been in critical, but stable, condition following a deadly six-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike.

His comic mentor James McNair, known as Uncle Jimmy Mack, was killed in the crash. Two others, including his assistant, Jeffrey Millea, were seriously injured.

Millea’s family, via Morgan’s rep, shares that he has been upgraded to fair condition as well.

The accident happened June 6 when a Walmart truck slammed into a limousine carrying Morgan and his entourage. The driver, Kevin Roper, has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide and assault by auto charges.
