It was a weekend of celebrity sidekick weddings.

On the same day Britney Spears took part in close pal Brett Miller’s wedding in Miami, Tori Spelling took a trip down the aisle for a friend.

The Tori & Dean star, clad in a J.Crew dress, accompanied her closest friend Amy Colvin during her special day at the altar as Colvin married real estate developer Michael Kaz.

“Amy looked unbelievable,” Spelling tells PEOPLE of Colvin, a Realtor at Hilton & Hyland, who wore a custom L’ezu dress and Spelling’s gift of Neil Lane earrings. “I was so honored to see my best friend marry her soul mate. She waited a long time for him and they truly balance each other out.”

The nuptials, celebrated at the Beverly Hills Hotel, took place in traditional Jewish fashion under a chuppah for a group of around 175 guests.

Spelling, 37, jokes that her newlywed pal’s wedding may be inspiration to have another child.

“I think it would be amazing if she’s pregnant with her first and me with my third at the same time,” Spelling says.

One of Spelling’s other memorable moments of the night was when she and the bridesmaids hijacked the band’s microphone and belted out “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” which Spelling says is their favorite “chick song.”

“It was so fun. Everyone danced all night,” Spelling recalls, adding that everyone’s sweet tooth was satisfied, compliments of Cake Divas.
