Celebrity Tori Spelling, Husband Split Up The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star is ending her marriage after one year By Ulrica Wihlborg Published on September 16, 2005 06:00 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tori Spelling has split from her husband, actor-writer Charlie Shanian, her rep tells PEOPLE. “Tori Spelling and Charlie Shanian have separated after one year of marriage,” Spelling’s publicist says in a statement. “The couple have been living apart since the beginning of August. This is the first marriage for both.” The couple married July 3, 2004, in an extravagant wedding hosted by Tori’s father, television mogul Aaron Spelling, at his 56,000-sq.-ft. Los Angeles mansion, with an estimated cost of $1 million. The black-tie, 350-person guest list featured a mix of Spelling’s former 90210 costars and longtime friends of the Spelling family, including Ed McMahon, Jackie Collins, Bob Newhart and Don Rickles. Spelling, 32, and Shanian, 36, met in 2002 when the two costarred onstage in Maybe Baby, It’s You, a play which Shanian cowrote.
