Timeflies Thursday?

Pop duo Timeflies are dropping their new original single “Something Wrong,” and PEOPLE has an exclusive first listen to the track.

The moody dance song finds vocalist Cal Shapiro singing and rapping about a relationship in which he seemingly can’t win, all over producer Rob “Rez” Resnick’s infectiously synthy EDM beat.

Timeflies rose to fame five years ago when their “Timeflies Tuesday” covers of pop hits – which they began posting weekly on YouTube in 2011 – went viral.

“Something Wrong” follows Timeflies’ internationally successful single “Once in a While.” The duo has released three LPs, two of which graced the Billboard 200 chart, with 2014’s After Hours peaking at No. 8 and last year’s Just for Fun at No. 61.

The L.A.-based band will hit the road for their Party in the Basement Tour, kicking it off in Nashville on Oct. 25 and wrapping Nov. 19 in Dallas.
