Celebrity The Wet Bandits Are Back! Daniel Stern Releases a Video Response to Macaulay Culkin's 'Home Alone' Parody Kevin McCallister isn't the only who is still traumatized By Diana Pearl Published on December 26, 2015 11:45 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: 20th Century Fox/Everett Collection Kevin McCallister isn’t the only one who is still affected by the trauma of Home Alone. In a new web series, :DRYVRS, Macaulay Culkin reprised his childhood role – and it seems, being abandoned by your family (twice) does has some lasting effects. And so does, it seems, having your face hit with iron and a paint bucket, getting a nail through your foot, slipping down a flight of icy stairs, stepping on broken ornaments and getting a shovel to the back of your head. In a response to Culkin’s video, Daniel Stern, who played Marv, one half of the “Wet Bandits”, who Kevin went up against in both the original film and its sequel, Home Alone 2, released a video on YouTube that proves he’s not exactly over the events of 25 years ago either. While “Kevin” was more angry about the situation (As he says: “It’s Christmas time. It’s f—ing Christmas and your whole family goes on vacation and they forget their 8-year-old f—ing son”), Marv, it seems, is just scared. Appearing without his partner in crime, Harry (Joe Pesci), “Marv” pleads for him to return to help protect him against Kevin’s cunning traps. “Harry, come find me!” Stern says in the video. “I’m scared. The kid is back. I saw it. I saw on the Internet. I saw, and he’s coming for all the home invaders.” “Please Harry,” he says, just before the scene cuts to black and he lets out a blood-curdling scream. “I’m home alone and I’m scared.” And the production company behind the video? Wet Bandit Productions, of course! Your move, Kevin.
