Cue the music and grab the tissues – this band just one-upped Mother’s Day surprises everywhere with a sweet video tribute to their moms.

Canadian vocal quartet The Tenors created a 5½-minute music video in which they fly back to their hometowns to surprise their moms and read personalized letters to each of the beloved ladies.

The video kicks off with each of the band members – Clifton Murray, Victor Micallef, Remigio Pereira and Fraser Walters – hiding and tiptoeing around their respective homes before popping out of closets and sneaking around corners to shock the women with their homecomings just in time for the Sunday holiday.

Backed by the group’s rendition of “You Are So Beautiful,” the video captures each of the musicians reading out loud their touching thank-you notes, which are also featured in Lisa Erspamer’s upcoming book, A Letter to My Mom.

“You’ve helped me become the man I am today, but I will always be your baby boy,” reads Walters, his voice breaking.

While holding her hand, Pereira says to his mother, who worked multiple jobs to support her family, “You’re always helping those in need before yourself. You had the wisdom to look for a better life for us all.”

The band is currently promoting their upcoming album, Under One Sky, and used their busy schedule as a cover-up for their big surprises.

“Know that this strength and love has not gone unrecognized,” Micallef says in his note. “My biggest wish is to one day be seen by my son in the same way.”

Under One Sky releases Monday. The group kicks off their tour in Prague in June.
