On March 25th of this year, the Rolling Stones made history by playing a free concert for over half a million people in Havana, Cuba. In addition to the record-breaking crowd, the show was an important benchmark in the thawing relations between the embargoed Communist country and much of the Western world.

Now the Stones are issuing a live album and concert film of the once-in-a-lifetime event. Dubbed Havana Moon , it’s due out Nov. 11. and will be available as a DVD + 2CD, Blu-ray + 2CD, DVD + 3LP, and as a special deluxe edition.

The announcement was accompanied by a 30-second teaser, depicting the band playing classics “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll” and “Satisfaction” before a rapturous crowd.

Director Paul Dugdale’s documentary was released for a one-off theatrical showing on Sept. 23. He also documented the band’s complete 10-date Latin American tour with The Rolling Stones Olé Olé Olé: A Trip Across Latin America, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this year.

“The Cuba show was simply amazing,” Mick Jagger said in a statement. “It was an incredible moment; a huge sea of people for as far as the eye could see. You could feel the buzz of the enthusiasm from the crowd and that was for me the stand-out moment.”
