The Butler Won't Do It

Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s personable butler, was horrified when informed of the way in which his publisher had planned to unveil his upcoming Martha Stewart-like book, reports Britain’s Daily Mail. “After delivering the manuscript of his lavish coffee-table book ‘Entertaining With Style,'” says the paper, “he was told that publishers Andre Deutsch wanted to launch it in October in the bookshop at Harrods.” Like many of the Princess’s family and friends who are still upset over the behavior of Harrods’s owner Mohamed Al Fayed (father for Dodi Fayed) during the two years since Diana and Dodi were killed, Burrell has vowed “never to cross the threshold of that shop.” The Mail says another bookstore will now handle the launch.
