Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced that they’ll play 28 new shows in 24 cities starting late next month. The concert series will serve as an encore to their recent reunion tour, which encompassed 87 shows in 44 cities in Europe and the U.S. before more than 1.8 million fans. Mark your calendars: The first show is slated for Feb. 28 at State College, Pa. Tickets go on sale Feb. 5. The South will also get a healthy dose of the Boss, with shows scheduled in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, North Carolina and elsewhere. The tour will conclude with a five-night stand (June 12, 15, 17, 20 and 22) at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Those tickets go on sale Feb. 19.
