The Apple of Mrs. Clinton's Eye

Hillary Rodham Clinton says she will definitely make her home in New York after leaving the White House, regardless of whether or not she runs for the Senate seat being vacated by retiring New York Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan. The first lady made the commitment during a “60 Minutes II” interview after being asked which New York baseball team she would root for. “The politic answer, since I do plan to live in New York no matter what I end up doing, is I’ll root for both,” she said in the interview, taped May 20 to air tomorrow night. CBS spokesman Kevin Tedesco said there was no significance to her use of the word “I” rather than “we” since she used “we” in other parts of the interview, clearly including the president in her plans.
