Apparently, Taylor Swift is the outdoorsy type.

The singer took some time to explore the great outdoors with her family over the Thanksgiving holiday, while on the Australian leg of her 1989 World Tour.

Sharing the photos and video on Instagram on Monday, Swift revealed that she was enjoying the postcard-perfect setting of New Zealand – despite the bugs!

“Swift family road trip!” the soon-to-be 26-year-old (her birthday is Dec. 13!) captioned a photo of her and brother Austin Swift. “South Island, NZ.”

In a video of her and Austin and their dad skipping rocks by the water, Swift is seen swatting away a bug that hits her in the face, saying, “There’s a lot of bugs here.”

Swift’s next concert is Saturday in Brisbane, Australia.
