From Dakota Johnson to Jay Z: All the People You Maybe Forgot Were a Part of Taylor Swift's Squad
The squad is always growing, as evidenced by an Instagram from Cara Delvingne in which she's FaceTiming with the squad leader herself — and birthday girl slash Fifty Shades of Gray star Dakota Johnson. Maybe we'll see her at next year's 4th of July party in Rhode Island.
BLAKE LIVELY (AND RYAN REYNOLDS!)
Lively and Swift went amusement park-hopping together in Australia – and exchange cat-themed birthday pies. So of course, Lively – and her husband, Reynolds – earned an invite to Swift's Independence Day fete.
Aduba may have hit the stage (twice!) during the 1989 tour, but who knew Swift and the Orange Is the New Black star were close enough to party together on the Fourth of July?
Uzo isn't the only Litchfield inmate that's a part of Swift's inner circle: Ruby Rose also stopped by Swift's weekend-long Rhode Island bash, bringing with her girlfriend Harley Gusman. Swift and Rose previously hung out at the GLAAD Media Awards earlier this year.
Taylor's such a fan of Platten's hit tune "Fight Song" that she Instagrammed the album art, wore a T-shirt with the lyrics on it and invited Platten up on stage during a 1989 show in Philadelphia.
Being in the squad isn't all epic Fourth of July parties and concert cameos: Swift pal Ballerini came over for coffee and a "girls night in," which Swift documented on Instagram, naturally.
You may not remember it, but these two blondes go way back. In fact, it was Goulding who introduced Swift to ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris at the ELLE Style Awards in 2014.
We all know Swift is tight with Lena Dunham, but she's probably even closer with Dunham's boyfriend, Bleachers lead singer Antonoff. He co-wrote and co-produced three songs on 1989, making them the coolest work BFFs ever.
She's got a girl gang of her own – Fifth Harmony! – but the songstress is firmly in Swift's inner squad. She even got a birthday shoutout on Instagram.
An original attendee of Swift's Fourth of July gatherings? Stone, who hung out with Swift and co. in Rhode Island back in 2014.
They're two of the biggest names in pop music today, so it was only a matter of time before they became friends. He attended her 25th birthday party, and then after the iHeartRadio awards earlier this year, she posted a sweet thank-you to her pal on Instagram.
BEYONCé AND JAY Z
Also at that 25th birthday party? Beyoncé and Jay Z. Meaning Swift's crowd literally has so much star power, the world cannot handle it.
