It’s time to shake off all the rumors.

In the past few weeks – and let’s face it, since 2008Taylor Swift‘s personal life has been a hot topic of discussion.

But recently, the singer has been linked to pretty much everyone in and outside of her inner circle, from ex Harry Styles, 5 Seconds of Summer‘s Michael Clifford, The 1975’s Matt Healy and even pal Karlie Kloss.

But don’t believe everything you read.

“Taylor remains happily single,” her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. “It is disappointing that her one birthday request was ignored.”

On Monday, Swift addressed the constant churn of dating rumors, Tweeting: “As my 25th birthday present from the media, I’d like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty”

But beyond the speculation, she is enjoying a phenomenal birthday week – she turns 25 on Dec. 13 – complete with some well-deserved accolades following the pop culture-dominating success of her album, 1989.

She was named one of the final eight candidates for TIME’s 2014 Person of the Year, she’s being honored as the 2014 Billboard Woman of the Year (the first artist to receive the title twice), and she’s one of Barbara Walters‘s 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014.

“She is such an enormous star, but she has as many fans as she possibly can to her house! Most people don’t want to get close, but she goes out of her way to,” Walters says of Swift in this week’s issue of PEOPLE. “I think that is remarkable.”
