Jaime King‘s newborn, Leo Thames, is one lucky baby.

The 5-week-old’s godmother Taylor Swift dedicated her song Never Grow Up to him during her concert in Santa Clara, California on Saturday.

“I wrote it when I was 18 or 19, but my friend just had a baby and she made me [his] godmother. I was holding this little baby the other night and I was just thinking differently,” she told the crowd about King’s newborn. “You’re holding onto something that’s so innocent and so perfect and has no idea what’s coming for it with the world. The world is going to throw so many things at you as we grow up.” http://teamswiift.tumblr.com/post/126861116926/staringsathesunset-taylors-speech-before-never

Swift, 25, met her godson three weeks ago for the first time, captioning an Instagram photo of her and Leo with lyrics from the same song.

King told PEOPLE in May why she chose the Bad Blood singer as the godmother of her second son.

“She’s such a beautiful human being,” King, 36, said at the time. “For me, in regards to a godparent that is a really sacred thing, so for me the thought that goes behind who’s going to be a spiritual, emotional, mental, psychological influence on my child is a really, really big deal.”

“I just knew after being so close with her and watching how she works and watching how she lives her life and also her family is like my family, she added. “So for me it felt like the only choice, the most natural choice.”
