Girl power will open Wednesday night’s CMT Awards show, with thrill-seeking country sweethearts Taylor Swift and Shania Twain channeling Thelma & Louise in their legendary convertible ride to kick off the show.

Even so, it may still end up as a guy’s night to party.

“My Kinda Party” singer Jason Aldean is the top nominee for the country video award with four nods, and he’ll join host Kid Rock, such country stars as Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band and a genre-crossing group of celebs including (nominee and presenter) Justin Bieber, Sheryl Crow and Dancing with the Stars winner Hines Ward.

Wednesday’s ceremony airs live from Nashville at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.

Other top nominees, with three nods each include Lady A, Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, Swift, The Band Perry and Zac Brown Band.

The show will also feature performances from Keith, Aldean, Big & Rich, Keith Urban, Sugarland, Lady A, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band.
