“American Pie” and “Josie and the Pussycats” actress Tara Reid is heading to the small screen to star in four to six episodes of NBC’s Thursday night sitcom “Scrubs,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Reid, 26, will play the sister of character Jordan Sullivan (actor Christa Miller) and the new love interest for series star Zach Braff. Besides Reid, former “A.U.S.A.” star Scott Foley, 31, will return to “Scrubs” for six episodes this season.

In other TV news, CBS is said to be in the early stages of developing a third installment of its No. 1-rated “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” series. Network CEO Leslie Moonves tells the Reporter he “certainly expects” a second spin-off to be ready for a potential fall 2004 debut.

And in movie negotiations, the Reporter says that Sharon Stone, 44, has been offered the role of Laurel — a cosmetics company honcho by day, villain by night — in the Halle Berry vehicle “Catwoman.”

Also, “Matrix Reloaded” actress Jada Pinkett Smith, 31, is reportedly in negotiations to jump into director Michael Mann’s “Collateral,” a thriller set to begin shooting next month. In it, Tom Cruise will play a contract killer being trailed by detective Val Kilmer.
